Over the past couple of years, COVID-19 cases had been on the rise and millions of people were by then, had already been in contact with someone who had it and got very ill while CDC were looking for solutions to decrease such numbers of cases and future deaths. By then, billions were spent on testing leading to creating three different vaccines with each instructed to get a second dose.

Around March 29th, 2021, the city of Chicago had announced that public schools and universities were given the OK to let the students who were the ages 12+ the chance to get vaccinated near local clinics or by the school. The infographic above shows the statistics of how many people have gotten vaccinated, reasons why you should be part of the million who are, and some comprehension of the vaccine itself. Many of course to this day, have yet to be vaccinated but the overall goal is to achieve low stats in cases, deaths and spread awareness to others about the virus and what we can do to help to stop spreading COVID-19.

The vaccine has shown a promising sign to many people of Chicago and has reached nearly all the local stores and pharmacies in the country available for everyone who needs, chooses and wants to get vaccinated, have you gotten yours yet?
